Privacy at COHIMA.

The controller is the provider of the COHIMA apps. Privacy and support requests reach us at support@cohima.app.

Depending on the features you use, we process contact and account data such as name, email address, user ID, team role and optional profile details.

COHIMA Teams processes in particular team, squad, calendar, availability, wellness, communication and player profile data. COHIMA Tactics processes training, tactics, drill, match and coach notes. COHIMA Analyze processes analysis projects, videos, thumbnails, clips, tags, drawings, ratings, xG data and tracker evaluations.

We process data to provide the app features, to synchronise content between authorised team members, to restore purchases, to analyse errors and to handle support requests.

Push notifications use an Apple Push Notification token. StoreKit subscriptions use product, transaction and team assignments so that purchased plans are unlocked and restored for the right team.

The apps do not sell personal data and do not use app tracking data for third-party advertising. Technical diagnostic and crash data serve stability, error analysis and support.

The cohima.app website is provided via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer and browser identification in order to deliver the pages and to protect them against abuse and attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor; for transfers to the USA, Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.

cohima.app delivers fonts, images and videos itself; no third-party content is loaded when you visit the home page. Links to the App Store lead to Apple, where Apple’s privacy policy applies.

When you open cohima.app, the server evaluates the preferred language sent by your browser (HTTP header “Accept-Language”) in order to show the home page in German, English, French or Spanish. This information is not stored.

If you choose a language in the language menu or confirm the cookie notice, we store your choice in the cookie “cohima_lang” (content: language code, e.g. “en”; lifetime: 12 months; cohima.app only). The cookie is technically required to provide the language version you explicitly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); no consent is required for it.

The website does not use any other cookies, tracking or advertising technologies. You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings; the website then shows your browser’s language again.

To see which pages and films are used, the cohima.app server counts page views and film starts. Only aggregated counters per day are stored: page requested, language version, the domain of the referring website, a campaign label from the link (e.g. “utm_source=instagram”), country, device class (smartphone, tablet, desktop) and the film started.

Country and device class are derived from the IP address and the browser identification at the time of the request; the IP address, browser identification or any other identifiers are not stored for this purpose. No cookies are set, no information is stored on or read from your device, no measurement scripts are loaded and no usage profiles are created. The counters are kept separately per attribute and are not linked with one another.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to design the website according to demand and to understand the reach of our content. The counters are stored with Cloudflare (see “Website: hosting and delivery”) and deleted after 400 days.

You can request access, rectification, export and deletion in the app or by email. The exact scope of deletion is shown in the app before your account is deleted; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
